COMING SOON: KLOKHUIS MEETS BIOFABRICATION

Last Tuesday, we had some very special guests at the RMCU: Het Klokhuis came to visit!

For those unfamiliar, Het Klokhuis is a long-running and beloved Dutch educational TV program aimed at children and young teens. It introduces complex topics — from science and technology to history and health — in a playful, accessible way. Many Dutch researchers have grown up watching it!

We proudly gave the Klokhuis crew a behind-the-scenes tour of our center and shared some of the latest developments in regenerative medicine. Together with Professor Jos Malda, expert in Biofabrication, and presenter Janouk Kelderman, they recorded an episode all about bioprinting.

How does it work? What can we use it for? And… can you bioprint an apple core?
