POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER – MACHINE LEARNING FOR BIOFABRICATION
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in machine learning and data-driven modeling to join our team at the Regenerative Medicine Center Utrecht.
In this full-time position (1.0 FTE, initially 1.5 years), you will develop AI models for defect detection and process optimization in biofabrication — integrating biomaterials, living cells, and embedded hardware. You will also design and manage the supporting data pipeline.
The project is embedded in the UMC Utrecht AI-Lab and involves close collaboration with the Innovation Center for Advanced Therapies (ICAT) and Biomotion, alongside researchers in regenerative medicine, biology, and engineering.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI and regenerative medicine, within a vibrant, multidisciplinary ecosystem at the Utrecht Science Park.
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN – BIOFABRICATION & OPEN INNOVATION LAB
We are looking for a technically skilled and hands-on laboratory technician to join our team at the Innovation Center for Advanced Therapies (ICAT) in Utrecht.
In this full-time position (36 hours/week), you will support cutting-edge biofabrication research and infrastructure — operating advanced equipment such as bioprinters and rheometers, coordinating workflows, and working closely with academic and industrial users of the Open Innovation Lab.
You will be part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment at Utrecht Science Park, collaborating with the Regenerative Medicine Center Utrecht (RMCU) and contributing to projects that accelerate the development of innovative cell, gene, and tissue therapies.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a growing facility and work at the forefront of translational regenerative medicine.
