PAULINA NÚÑEZ BERNAL RECEIVES YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD IN BIOFABRICATION

We’re proud to celebrate a rising star in the field of biofabrication!

Paulina Núñez Bernal, postdoctoral researcher in the group of Riccardo Levato and Jos Malda, has been awarded the International Society for Biofabrication – Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine Young Investigator Award 2025.

This prestigious award recognizes exceptional early-career researchers who are already making a significant impact in advancing biofabrication and shaping the future of regenerative medicine.

Paulina brings deep expertise in 3D printing, bio-ink development, and 3D stem cell and organoid culture. In addition to her research, she also coordinates the MSc in Biofabrication at Utrecht University, where she plays a key role in educating and mentoring the next generation of experts in the field.
